What's this blog about? I don't know. I just can't shut up most of the time, and people seem to like my facebook posts and they're always saying start a blog, so here I am: clueless and just sharing my life with strangers.
So, what's my deal. Not sure. Let's just start with the basics then. I'm a recovering PR gal, chronic pain warrior, and I like to share natural stuff (all my favorite things from essential oils to far-infrared biomats that I love and are helping me on my spinal instability journey). But most importantly, I'm Jon's old lady, and our 20 year old’s momma.
I’ve just logged in to update this page because some stuff has come true… I previously said “We live in Southern California but my dream is to live on a big 'ol ranch in the middle of nowhere with a wrap-around porch and rocking chairs. Later, I'll grow a big long silver braid and paint on that porch with a mason-jar iced coffee in the other hand, I promise."
Remember that 1980's Levi's commercial and the chick (she's supposed to be James Dean's character in Giant) is all cowboyed out reclining in the back of a convertible with her legs are crossed, boots propped up on the front seat, kind of waving her gloves at her face like it's too hot, and she's over it. Well, that's me.
I just want to be a cowgirl, ok? But, for now, I’ll settle for a cowgirl with a sparkle cane as a magic wand empowered by all things natural.
May we all achieve our dreams and inspire each other along the way! For now, enjoy getting to know me and what I’m all about here, and happy trails wherever you may roam!”
Update: We now live on nearly 15 acres in Northern Idaho. So, we found our ranch. We are here, we made it, and it’s beautiful, and just where I need to be as a settle into this new normal of being disabled but still a little firecracker. I can’t wait to share more, but I had to laugh at the above message, and give you a quick update rather than simply change the page.
