Good morning. Last day. We arrived here at 6:15am so I thought I would bring you with us on the sunrise drive onto the temple grounds. There are many temples here onsite so I've tried to share a new one each day but this vid will help you to see how vast and beautiful and peaceful it is here, especially before most visitors arrive. The flowers and cellophane wrapped care-packages are offerings to the monks who come and pray with us everyday. The tray includes more of Dad's favorite dishes. He started the morning with coffee (black, of course) and chocolate chip cookies. He always loved something sweet with his coffee. Of course, there's always a colorful spread of food for our guests too. This evening will be our last and biggest celebration of Dad's life then we will go to temple tomorrow morning to say one last goodbye before he goes for cremation next door. When he does, some special items will go with him in "the box" like his best golf clothes and hat so he's ready for the course as well as some other personal things we picked out for his travels.
