Sept 2018 was all about getting healthy, organized and back to a normal routine.
Chance (un-phased by the move to high school) turned 14, and while Jon hooked him up with some sweet motocross gear, my gift to him was to transform his room into an apartment (pictured here). He was stoked to have a new space more fitting for his age and mom was happy to make it happen for him. Cleaning and changing things up in our home is so cathartic for me (Jon calls it Tetris), especially when it's time to cleanse and clear the vibe, and create a new beginning for us all.
On the health front, I spent the last few years doing everything possible to make sure my family stayed above the wellness line while employing every tool in my toolbox to keep my head above water and stay balanced through my Dad's illness and passing.
But, by September, we all (as a family!) were ready to kick it into high gear. Jon, Chance and I committed to eating better, hydrating more and staying on top of our daily supplements. Jon and I started enjoying a healthy mocktail every evening out in the parry shack before dinner. Cheers!
With these pieces in place and life humming along at a slow and steady pace again thanks to all of the hub's help, I was finally able to focus on my business, and take it to a new level just doing what I love to do anyway. Now, I've got all kinds of crafty gizmos and new skills, so I can easily care for my clients and team while getting to be more creative with every project! I'm feeling so focused and inspired right now and enjoying the hustle!
